What Makes RISE Different

Our focus is to help you be a full-service wedding photographer that sells products so you can grow and improve your business without sacrificing all your weekends. You’ll learn from two top wedding photographers who have two totally different perspectives on this same business model - so that you can take and adapt what will work for YOU and your business.

  • Build your portfolio by photographing a styled wedding while working with Vanessa and Meredith to elevate your skills. We want you to get experience, improve your craft, and be supported along the way…not just have theoretical knowledge.

  • Explore the different ways you can be successful from two successful wedding photographers who have the same business model but execute it differently so you can adapt what makes sense for your business. This is the power of perspective: there are lots of ways you can do this and be successful.

  • Connect with our network of other wedding photographers, vendors, and planners in the wedding market. Past attendees have become second shooters for each other, they've helped each other grow their businesses, and they have provided the kind of feedback and accountability that pushes your business forward. Expanding your network grows your business.

  • Increase sales while pricing with integrity. Find the right-fit clients who value your work, are enjoyable to work with, and are not seeking discounts. We will demonstrate and practice in-person sales so you learn what key phrases to say and gain confidence in new sales skills that feel good to you.

  • Implement photo and business strategies during the workshop while the instructors are on hand to help guide you and answer the questions that inevitably come up.

  • Receive personalized attention in our small class sizes to ask in-depth questions, receive specific answers, and have an interactive experience.
